Q:  What do I need to avoid before getting microbladed?

A:  You should refrain from blood thinners such as fish oil, vitamin E and ibuprofen 5 days before your procedure.  Botox and chemical peels should be avoided 2 weeks prior to your microblading appointment.

 

Q:  What do I need to avoid after my microblading procedure?

A:  Sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peels, fruit acids and laser treatments should be avoided 30 days post procedure.  Refrain from sweating (rigorous workouts), sauna and steam 7 days post procedure.

Q:  Will I scab after microblading?

A:  Typically, clients do not scab with our special techniques and aftercare.

Q:  Is it painful?
A:  A numbing cream is applied prior to the treatment, which is sufficient for a comfortable experience. 

Q:  How long does it last?
A:  Microblading is a two step
process, after your first treatment you will need a touch up 4 to 8 weeks later.  Then we recommend an annual color boost to keep the color looking nice and fresh.  Everyone holds pigment differently, and lifestyles such as sun exposure may lighten it.

 

Q:  Do I need to avoid the sun after my facial?

A:  Yes, with each facial treatment we recommend you avoid sun exposure and wear SPF daily. 

 

Q:  Will I be red after microneedling?

A:  Yes, the day of you will be red or pink, depending on skin type this can last 1 to 3 days.
